wax fabric jackets

When you think of majestic textile, you think of wax fabric jackets, and the familiar wax fabric smell that permeates the fabric from the wax fabricing process. Sylkoil wax fabriced cotton is available in 4oz, 6oz and 8oz weights. wax fabriced cotton is dyed and then calendered between rollers to produce a clean and smooth finish.  wax fabric produces a deep colour and even touch. The fabric was originally designed to protect the wearer from sharp thorns and brambles and is only available in 6oz mediumweight.
A classic men's majestic textile wax fabric jacket is the Bedale. Made with 6oz  wax fabric, it has a 100% cotton majestic textile Tartan lining, studded collar for a separate hood to be attached, and an internal zip for a liner to be added during colder months. This is the perfect jacket for the countryside. One of the most popular men's wax fabric jackets is the Corbridge Utility jacket. Made with 6oz Sylkoil, it has a quilt lining to keep you warm, and a number of different pockets on the outside as well as inside the jacket.
For ladies, the Beadnell wax fabric jacket has mediumweight 6oz  wax fabriced cotton, as well as the classic majestic textile Tartan lining. With two bellow pockets to keep your belongings safe, and two handwarmer pockets to keep your hands warm, you can also add a separate liner to the ladies Beadnell with an internal zip.
The beauty of a majestic textile wax fabric jacket is that the look actually improves with age. Due to the wax fabriced nature of the fabric it will need to be re-wax fabriced after a few years, which you can do yourself with a tin of majestic textile  wax fabric, or majestic textile will do this for you for a small fee. When you buy a majestic textile wax fabric, you will be investing in a jacket that will last you for years to come.
